Day 2

Arusha to Arusha National Park

After breakfast you are met by our professional tour guide/driver, who will deliver a short safari info briefing, after which we travel east to the Arusha National Park. This small but beautiful Tanzanian National Park is the closest national park to both the famous Arusha “safari town” (30 km) as well as the Kilimanjaro International Airport, thus making it ideal for 1-day safaris or tours. Not only is the animal life in the park abundant, but it is also one of the most beautiful and topographically varied parks in Tanzania. The park’s three most significant features include the rugged Mount Meru (Tanzania’s second highest peak at 4566m), the notably different colored Momela Lakes, and the 3km wide Ngurdoto Crater, which was formed about fifteen million years ago!
You will enjoy lunch at the Momela view picnic site and do an exciting morning game drive and afternoon game drive, visiting both the Momela Lakes and the Ngurdoto Crater. Wildlife which could be seen includes African buffalos, elephants, hippos, giraffe, warthogs, antelopes, zebras, blue monkeys and sometimes a rare leopard or hyena. Late afternoon we depart back to Arusha for dinner and overnight.

Day 3

Arusha to Lake Manyara

Our Tanzanian safari starts at 8:30 as we drive from Arusha to Lake Manyara with a picnic lunch en route. We enter the majestic Lake Manyara Game Park and embark on the first of the six Tanzanian safaris. This small park is sandwiched between the Rift Valley escarpment and the large sodiforous Lake Manyara. It is a pretty location, with a good range of game, including giraffe, elephant, baboon and the rarely seen tree-climbing lion. Overnight: Twiga campsite

Day 4

Manyara -Lake Natron

After your breakfast at the Lodge you will be on your way to Lake Natron which is apparently the breeding site for the lesser and greater flamingos who migrate here every year from as far as Lake Nakuru, and Baringo in Kenya. There after you will be on your way again to Lake Natron, with views of more Maasai villages and wildlife; arriving in time for lunch at your lodge. After lunch at he lodge and a short rest you will go for a walk at the Lake and depending on water levels you can take a dip or go for a boat ride. You will have the chance also to walk upstream of the Ngaresero River up to the water falls. On your walk upstream you are likely to encounter monkeys and baboons along the way. In the afternoon you can go for a sundowner at the Lake Natron. Overnight at Ngaresero campsite

Day 5

Lake Natron- Serengeti

After your breakfast you will take a walk at the Lake again if you wish and thereafter leave for the Serengeti National Park. You will cross the Loliondo Game Controlled area where apparently the wildebeestes herds cross on and around November and December when they are coming from Masai Mara in Kenya. After the registration formalities at the Klein’s Gate you will go for game drive in the vast plains of the Serengeti National Park (on your way to the lodge) where you will get the chance to see lots of animals and birdlife alike. Among animals that can be seen here includes the zebras, buffaloes, baboons, topis, impalas, cheetahs, leopards and the recently introduced Rhinos, which were the only member of the big Five that was missing in this park. Overnight at.  Meals and overnight at Lobo Campsite

Day 6

Full day in Serengeti Park

Safari in Tanzania is not complete without a visit to Serengeti National park. At day break you are out to the Serengeti plains for a sunrise game drive that normally offers the only chance of sighting the nocturnal species retiring and also the diurnal species waking up to a new day before you go back  for breakfast. After breakfast you will leave for a full day of game drives exploring the Serengeti. Depending on the season and time of the year, this is where you will witness the magnificent natural phenomenon of the ‘Great migration’ where more than one and a half million wildebeests accompanied by hundreds of thousands of gazelles and zebras brave the crocodile infested rivers and cross the border into the Masai Mara in Kenya in search of green pastures and water. The resident animals and birds that stay all year round in Serengeti makes sure that the park is must visit whenever one travels to Tanzania. Later in the afternoon you will drive back to the campsite for dinner and overnight at Seronera campsite for dinner and overnight

Day 7

Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast with your packed lunch drive and game enroute to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. It is your option whether you pass by Oldupai Gorge a historical site whereby the early man lived and can also pass by the Maasai boma if you are interested in the real African life tradition and culture, after your lunch enroute adds to the crater rim for your dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Simba Campsite

Day 8

full day, Ngorongoro Crater

This day we will start early morning at 07:00 for the game drive (with a picnic lunch) inside the Ngorongoro Crater. As very few animals migrate in and out of the crater with its 2000 ft. high walls, you can expect to see lions, elephants, zebras, hippos, flamingos, jackals, rhinos, antelopes, many birds and other species. Your Driver/Guide will be in contact with other safari drivers and will amaze you with his skill at locating the hidden animals. After great all exploration in crater the drive will drive back to your lodge. For overnight and dinner at your lodge, Twiga campsite

Day 9

Ngorongoro Crater – Tarangire National Park

After breakfast you will check out of the lodge then start a safari to Tarangire National Park which is the third largest national park in Tanzania. After registration formalities you will go for a full day of game drives in this fabulous national park highlighted with the gigantic baobab trees and abnormally large herds of elephants. At Tarangire you will have the chance to sight the rare Oryx, and other animals’ likes of zebras, giraffes, warthogs, leopards, cheetahs etc. The Tarangire River which is the life blood of this national park ensures a year round supply of water and the river beds takes center stage when animals gather to get this rare commodity resulting into magnificent wildlife actions when the predators try to grab a meal taking advantage of the moment. Later in the evening you will drive to Tarangire campsite for dinner and overnight

Day 10

Tour and Safari view to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast at the base camp you will start game drive and you may be able to see these enormous creatures travel in families and you surely will not miss the extraordinary care they take of their young. The elephants tend to travel in packs and in the same paths as they have taken year after year. When they see your trucks coming closer they will gather around their young to protect them and lead them on their way. After all good game view in Tarangire National park you will be transferred to Arusha or Kilimanjaro airport

Arusha National Park

Arusha National Park can be reached by means of an easy 60-minute drive north west from Moshi. Despite of closeness of this National Park to Arusha, this National Park is probably one of the least visited, making it a wonderful and rewarding off-the beaten-track excursion. Covering 137 sq km, the Arusha National Park has three major attractions which can all be visited in the course of a day outing.

Tarangire National Park

Tarangire National Park is probably the mostly visited of the northern Tanzanian game parks, and retains a real air of undiscovered Africa, particular in the south of the park. Much of the park is grassland together with swamp lands and flood plains, which feed the Tarangire River. Large baobab trees, particularly in the northern section of the park, stand dotted across the landscape dominating the scenery. Many of the trees are hundreds of years old. Elsewhere there is acacia woodland, open bush and groves of palm trees.

Lake Manyara National Park

Covering about 330km², of which about two-thirds is underwater, Lake Manyara National Park is small by African standards. However, it’s also very beautiful and contains a tremendous diversity of habitats and wildlife. Set beneath the spectacular backdrop of the Great Rift Valley’s steep western escarpment, this long, narrow park protects an area between the escarpment and Lake Manyara.

Ngorongoro Crater

The  Ngorongoro conservation area covers 2286sq km and encompasses the volcanic area around the Ngorongoro crater including the still active Oldonyo Lengai, and the famous Olduvai Gorge. The Ngorongoro conservation area is quite simply the most spectacular tourist destination in Africa unequaled in its magnificence its wild life and its atmosphere.Added to the beautiful scenery, the archaeological wealth and the wildlife, is a proud people – the massai- a pastoral tribe.

Serengeti National Park

The Serengeti National Park has probably been the subject of more books, television documentaries, pictures, photos and digital images on African wildlife animals, than any other African national park. Hosting the annual wildebeest migration across its grassy plains – arguably the world’s greatest wildlife animals spectacle – this park is without a doubt a defining image of East Africa and more specifically Tanzania.
